We are pleased to announce our next online training that will be held by the Cyprus Refugee Council, concerning

“Working with difficult cases, implementing the Victim Centered Approach”

The training is funded by the Open Society Foundation, Public Health Program, and it is targeted to government officials, police officials, case managers NGO officers and anyone who is working with asylum seekers and refugees.

It aims to give a comprehensive description of what is the Victim Centered Approach (VCA), how do we apply it with difficult cases, as well as how do we take care of ourselves to prevent burn-out. The training will be given by experienced staff working with the VCA for many years.

As the pandemic does not allow for in-person meetings we will have this training online, via the Zoom platform, which allows us to invite even more participants on the 21st of May, from 9am to 1pm.

For registrations, please fill in the form below by the 19th of May: https://forms.gle/vMCgnWcmqMtcYa6f6
