The project Training Kit for Empowering Refugee-led Community Organisations has been completed in Cyprus, following the event last week, presenting the Training Kit.
The project’s main aim was “to see a dramatic improvement in the quality of enjoyment of human rights by refugees” through supporting self-representation efforts of refugee-led groups and to enhance their active inclusion in advocacy activities. In order to achieve this aim, the Training Kit on Empowering Refugee-Led Community Organisations was developed.
The Training Kit contains guidelines and training materials created to support refugees in their efforts to form their own organisations and represent their communities both at national and EU level, with a focus on various relevant topics e.g., organisational development, advocacy, national asylum systems and competences needed to efficiently run an organisation.
The Training Kit can be utilised by refugees, refugee-led groups and other organisations which support refugee communities.
