During last weeks’ Council of Ministers the following were decided in order to minimize the possibility of transmission of COVID-19 in areas of increased assemblage or social events:
- A SafePass (read below on how to get a SafePass) or a 72hour valid rapid test or PCR test will be required to enter closed spaces or the following establishments: dining establishments, events or reception venues, nightclubs, entertainment venues, music and dance venues, bars, discos, theatres, amphitheaters, theaters, cinemas, religious places and stadiums, excluding football stadiums.
- Businesses/establishments that will choose to accommodate only citizens who have been vaccinated or who have been ill during the last six months, should ensure that this is noted in a prominent area of the business/establishment, as well as inform citizens of their decision
- The owner or the manager of the business or the establishment is responsible for the implementation of the SafePass and other health measures. It is stressed that the Police and the authorized officers of the Services/Departments will continue to be responsible for the control and supervision of the measures.
- Employees of the public, wider public and private sector are granted a special leave of absence on the whole day of their vaccination which will not be deducted from the employee’s annual leave of absence. If their vaccination concerns a two-dose vaccine, this measure applies for both days of vaccination. The same applies in the case of working parents/legal guardians of minors who will accompany their minor(s) for vaccination, provided that the parent/legal guardian presents a copy of the child’s Vaccination Card for confirmation.
- There will be no more FREE Rapid Tests from August 1st.

How to get a SafePass?
Have you been vaccinated against COVID-19 (with 1 or 2 doses) and registered on the Ministry of Health data base? Have you been Covid19 positive within the past 6 months? Or do you have a negative PCR or rapid antigen test with the last 7 days?
Then you are entitled to a Safe Pass Certificate. To get it visit the EU Digital COVID Certificate portal https://www.eudcc.gov.cy/ . Once there, follow the steps below:

Step 2: Fill in your details
Step 3: Insert the OTP sent to your mobile phone
Step 4: Download and/or print your certificate.
NOTE: Make sure you keep your certificate with you (printed or digital) to be able to show it when requested.

Au cours du Conseil des ministres de la semaine dernière, les décisions suivantes ont été prises afin de minimiser la possibilité de transmission du COVID-19 dans les zones de rassemblement ou d’événements sociaux accrus:
– Un SafePass (lire ci-dessous comment obtenir un SafePass) ou un test rapide valide obtenu dans les dernières 72 heures ou un test PCR sera requis pour entrer dans les espaces fermés ou les établissements suivants: établissements de restauration, lieux d’événements ou de réception, discothèques, lieux de divertissement, salles de musique et danse, bars, discothèques, théâtres, amphithéâtres, théâtres, cinémas, lieux de culte et stades, à l’exclusion des stades de football.
– Les entreprises/établissements qui choisiront d’héberger uniquement des citoyens qui ont été vaccinés ou qui ont été malades au cours des six derniers mois, doivent s’assurer que cela soit noté dans un endroit bien visible de l’entreprise/établissement, ainsi que d’informer les citoyens de leur décision.
– Le propriétaire ou le gérant de l’entreprise ou de l’établissement est responsable de la mise en œuvre du SafePass et des autres mesures sanitaires. Il est souligné que la Police et les agents habilités des Services/Départements continueront d’être responsables du contrôle et de la supervision des mesures.
– Les salariés des secteurs public, parapublic et privé bénéficient d’un congé spécial pour toute la journée de leur vaccination qui ne sera pas déduit du congé annuel du salarié. Si leur vaccination concerne un vaccin en deux doses, cette mesure s’applique pour les deux jours de vaccination. Il en va de même dans le cas des parents/tuteurs légaux de mineurs qui accompagneront leur(s) mineur(es/s) pour la vaccination, à condition que le parent/tuteur légal présente une copie de la carte de vaccination de l’enfant pour confirmation.
– Il n’y aura plus de tests rapides GRATUITS à partir du 1er août.

Comment obtenir un SafePass?
Vous avez été vacciné contre le COVID-19 (avec 1 ou 2 doses) et inscrit sur la base de données du Ministère de la Santé? Avez-vous été positif au Covid19 au cours des 6 derniers mois? Ou avez-vous un test PCR ou antigénique rapide négatif au cours des 7 derniers jours?
Ensuite, vous avez droit à un certificat Safe Pass. Pour l’obtenir, visitez le portail du certificat numérique COVID de l’UE https://www.eudcc.gov.cy . Une fois connectés, suivez les étapes ci-dessous:

يمنح موظفو القطاع العام والقطاع الخاص إجازة خاصة في يوم تطعيمهم ، ولا تخصم من الإجازة السنوية للموظف. إذا كان تطعيمهم يتعلق بلقاح من جرعتين ، فإن هذا الإجراء ينطبق على يومي التطعيم. وينطبق الشيء نفسه في حالة الوالدين العاملين / الأوصياء القانونيين للقصر الذين سيرافقون قاصرهم للتطعيم ، بشرط أن يقدم الوالد / الوصي القانوني نسخة من بطاقة التطعيم الخاصة بالطفل للتأكيد.
