The event will bring together social workers, thematic experts and researchers, public officers and shelters’ coordinators across the EU to share illustrative practices as well as new developments at support of the victims of trafficking in human beings and other vulnerable women in migration.

The conference takes place within the framework of the project “SAFE HOUSES”, funded by the European Commission.

The project was implemented to assistance and protection for the third-country national victims of trafficking in human beings arrived in Europe across the Central and Eastern Mediterranean Migration Routes.

Before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the project supported the integration of women and girls transiting through Cyprus, France, Italy and Spain at risk of exploitation, mainly in the sex market.
